yesterday singapore vs malaysia. watched on channel5. felt malaysia was the better team throughout. n malaysia will win the return leg cos singapore's defensive stalwart, aide, is suspended. many may disagree with me but i dun think that singapore can survive without the good defending of aide, as their attack is really lousy, alam shah is too small and can only be relied to sneak in a few goals, amri and indra isnt performing well.

League 2.
The 4th league from the EPL and the lowest i have dare ventured. This league is a league where there is little if not nothing seperating the teams. every team seems similar and the most important factor is picking a kit colour that you like.
An average league 2 club gets about 10k transfer budget. and your signings are limited to ppl within the country or at most within UK. your players have stats that have an average current ability of around 100. The team i have chosen to manage in this league was wycombe wanderers, the giant killing team that has dumped 2 premiership clubs and drawn chelsea in the FA cup. It went quite well for me and i saw myself went into the championship in 2 seasons. only to get relegated back to league 1 the next season.but it was still a good game.
For league 2 teams. you can skip the top 4/5 of your player search screen and look solely as those who are transfer listed and available on a free transfer. Strikers are easy to get, depending on the leagues and database you chose. duncan ferguson, teddy sheringham, Romario, some of the african strikers with eu 2nd nationalities. all fit the bill well. in defence you have lorenzo amoroso, serginho ( almost impossible to get even if your bid is accepted), spencer prior. For league 2, your choice is limited. and so you enter another market, one that you will never touch if you are in the premiership. yes. the loan market. Put your pride aside and get a parent team, hopefully from the premiership. and try to get loan signings. scourge the liverpool, man utd, chelsea, arsenal reserves for players to fill your squad. some of them may reject you, but many more will come. from liverpool : Jack hobbs, nabil el zhar, craig lindfield. From man utd: febian brandy and co will come in handy. From chelsea: scott sinclair, michael macienne. From arsenal: anyone in the reserves and under 18s. From west ham: hogan Ephraim. From man city: daniel sturridge. From tottenham: Tomas Pekhart .Try getting anyone that you think is good from loans from those clubs, for even lousy players can play in the league 2. lolz.
after getting your squad, the competition is tricky too. every club can beat every other club. so you may beat the top of table one day and lose to the bottom club 3 days later. so treat every match with care n concern. lolz. also dun be complacent if you are leading 2-0 at half time. in league 2, a 2 goal lead is nothing as AOS (any other scores) frequently occurs.
however, league 2 is not a diffucult league as there is not a great power jump when you are promoted. unlike from league 1 to championship and championship to premiership. so you would have a platform 2 build on when you are in league 1, without having the change the whole team. lolz.

lolz. went watch singapore vs indonesia last nite at the singapore national stadium wif bain, ray, freeze, ronghua n rong hua's fren. lolz. seh. singapore n indonesia battled out to a 2-2 draw. although there was slight rain in the opening minutes the rain did not dampen the spirit of the singaporean fans who broke into choruses of cheers after cheers. the crowd was much more lively than the vietnam match and singapore soon broke the deadlock with a penalty. lolz. the rest of the match go read match report at soccernet. lolz. anyway. now enjoy the stadium. damn fun place to be at. the atmostphere is wonderful. if this is only a stadium 135oo full. can't imagine how it will be live at any of the epl stadium. lolz.

lolz. was at the singapore vs vietnam match with ray n addi at singapore stadium yesterday. lolz. it is different to be at a stadium to watch a match. much more atmostphere than at home. at home everyone so quiet. at stadium u can hear lots of thing. damn funny stuff. hu says singaporean fans are not passionate? haha.

today match postponed cos i addi n ray all cannot make it and rained alot. making the pitch more of a swamp than a field. lolz.
sian. west ham drew 3-3 with fulham cos of stupid graham poll. he seems like the referee refereeing the vietnam match yesterday. give stupid decisions. lolz.
played some fm juz now. lolz. and now decided that since i played so much fm. mayb i should share some of my skills and experience. lol. in this. Diego's official FM guide.

Creating a game:
basically there are 6 types of games. each having a different kind of challenge with varying difficulty, considering that u do not cheat and only have a single manager in the game.
the first type is the most popular and most likely easiest but most fun. The first type is starting a game as your favourite club. west ham for my case. or man u for many out there. it is easiest cos u noe all the players already. at least you know most of the 1st team and you noe who you should play in case someone got injured and who you should avoid playing at all costs. Taking my example, in west ham, if you looked at bobby zamora, you will think that he should be not bad as his stats are comparable to many other good strikers say luke moore, but a hammer will noe tt he is shit and can't score for nuts and will ship him off on the first chance. Since every fan should noe the strengths and weaknesses of his team. it is the easiest to play.
challenge :3-5/10(depending on club)
fun: 10/10
average time until you get bored : 3.5 seasons
the second type is a game at a high profile rich clubs. chelsea, barca, real madrid, milan, inter, arsenal and man u comes to mind. just to name a few. of cos these clubs may intersect with the 1st type but for this 2nd type we are considering those who do not support the club u take control at. This type of game is also largely easy as money can buy success, at least in the game. any club with a transfer budget of over 20m falls under this category. portsmouth, although having a budget of 20m is too shit to be in this group. Some may argue that this type of game is the most easy but it is not necessary the case, especially at clubs like chelsea and barca. they will ask for you to sign high profile players and may block your signing of players whom you know are cheap and good, e.g. marcelo and cardenas. however, in my opinion, this type of game sux as with money you can win everything in your first 2-3 seasons and will get bored quickly, however it is recommended for beginners as it will not spoil your morale quickly.
Challenge: 3/10

average time before you get bored: 2.4 seasons.

The fourth kind of game is starting a game at the top league but as one of the weakest club. this provide a challenge similar to LL management but slightly easier and gives a mind wrecking and heart stopping experience as you look likely to lose every match in the 1st season. especially with teams like watford and sheffield united. and find yourself looking for a draw rather than a win in every match. and it takes seasons to transform a club like that into a european force. my 1st ever FM game in FM05 was such a game as i started with norwich, a club i supported and saw myself at the same position near the foot of the table for 2 seasons. realistic but difficult.
challenge: 9/10
Fun: 6/10
average time before you get bored: 3-7 seasons depending on the speed success arrives.
the fifth kind of game is to start unemployed. this is very similar to LL managing in terms of challenge and provides even more possibilities especially with the new previous experience function. you may enter a sinking ship, needing to win every 2 out of 3 games to stop relegation, or u may get bought in after someone completes a takeover in the lower leagues. or you may rot in nothingness as no one wants to give you a job. but most ppl gets a job after 2-3 months providing you are not choosy in clubs ranging from championship to conference, haven got a premiership side want me starting unemployed yet. most difficult of them all in my opinion as you waste one transfer season at the beginning of the game and have to make do with what you have in your reserve and youth teams. I once took over a league 2 club whose only striker was out till the end of season and had to make do with youth players and makeshift strikers.
Challlenge: 10/10
Fun: 7/10
time before you get bored: very long if you have the patience.
final kind of the game is called- others. lolz. many funny games fall under this category. playing in wierd leagues like slovenian league, mediocre clubs like boro, or going on holiday for very long so that all the players you know are gone before playing. etc. etc.etc. the possibilities are limitless. and sky is the limit as you think of challenges for yourself. be a job hopper, changing jobs every time a new job comes up. or make your aim to be sacked while having the support of your players.

time before you get bored: varies.

lolz. later going to national stadium to watch singapore play vietnam with addi n ray. lolz. can't wait. cos now damn sian. lolz.
1 wk of proper skooling has ended. lolz. this new principal seem like a super GL rolypoly whose main concern is not student welfare but grades. lolz. haiz. seem like a mugging yr this is. lolz.
this wkend seems proper and unlike my proper anger and sadness filled ones. lolz. but it is still too early to decide. lolz.
tomolo forca playing some funny challenger with quite a few loanees and trialees from the victoria hall. lolz. treating it as just a friendly. lolz. so expecting nth much but 2 hrs of great football. lolz.
forca team news: top scorer ray is doubtful following a skin problem while tireless winger RH is out with a knee injury. thus the team have to rely on other key members such as addi, Pk and the ever reliable but easily tired diego. Forca have often played a 4-4-2 formation but is likely to change to a 4-3-3 due to injuries and to accomadate creative midfielders sundar and wei ming. sundar is also doubtful due to his superb vanishing skills. In defence, strong defender Park will partner towering Jian Min in the center, a partnership similar to the cannavaro-materazzi partnership that was crucial in italy's world cup triumph. Diego will play left back with terence or a hostelite playing right back. PK, sundar and Weiming will form a deadly trio in central midfield with pk being the engine room of the team. bain will play in his preferred left wing while the right wing will be taken by either former vortex player randall or another hostelite. upfront, the sole striker will be a hostellite. another hostelite will be playing keeper as diego lost his gloves and terence is too eccentric to play there. since we know almost nth about the opponent. it is stupid to write anything about them here.

1st wk of e yr
haiz. so 8 days have past. lolz. still feels like december but getting to january mood liao. lolz.
sunday went queensway with reub n zhou. saw few shoes tt i like but neva buy sia. sad life. lolz den all the shops mysteriously close by 7. lolz. den went home. tried to take 197 but found out it takes too damn long. lolz. left queensway at 7 reached bugis at 7.45. lolz. den called parents "hallo. ma 我不会这么快到。 ·bus 很慢。 还要一个半小时." lolz. luckily the bus stop near lavender mrt at where we went take mrt lolz. den the mrt filled to the brim.this yr is getting unlucky. lolz

sunday went queensway with reub n zhou. saw few shoes tt i like but neva buy sia. sad life. lolz den all the shops mysteriously close by 7. lolz. den went home. tried to take 197 but found out it takes too damn long. lolz. left queensway at 7 reached bugis at 7.45. lolz. den called parents "hallo. ma 我不会这么快到。 ·bus 很慢。 还要一个半小时." lolz. luckily the bus stop near lavender mrt at where we went take mrt lolz. den the mrt filled to the brim.this yr is getting unlucky. lolz
so many things happened around me in this 8 days. lolz. so unlucky until this yr getting spooky. lolz.

35th dec
lolz. 2 days into skool n it still feels like december. lolz. december is my favourite month by a mile. lol.
sad life. damn sian.. go skool like no point. lolz. suddenly like so stressed cos see everyone mugging in skool. lolz. y can't life be 1 long holiday. haiz. lolz. whu got thrashed. damn sian. now they need a full 11 to replace the whole 1st team.
super tired. dunno y even though today like do nth. haiz....
