Tribute to Pavarotti

Today. the world loses yet another great singer. Luciano Pavarotti. One if not the greatest of the greatest tenors. One who have never stopped singing. One who brought opera and football as one in the 1990 world cup. One whose voice oozes magic. One who have little to do with me except for the fact that he is a great tenor. And even that is nothing.

And so. To this great man. I salute you. and may you rest in peace.

Guess i will leave it as so today. cos my life aint that interesting.

Yesterday, the source of my sickness, was damn fun. lolz.. morn ponned natpha retest to play football. i seriously dun understand the use of retaking natpha when i have failed and i noe i will fail again so soon. Do anyone seriously think that anyone could like improve so quickly? lolz. but anyway. i wanted to act sick, but i was really sick. abit. lolz. but i still played football. in the rain. lolz. den after that endured the whole day with wet shoes n no socks. lolz. and crapped at some classroom with some of the class guys. where i failed once again to complete my story. lolz. haiz. lolz. den at nite still went eat BK wif ran and his bro, reuben. lolz. after which went symphony of voices. lolz. which is damn nice. super nice. lolz. and got a rose for noch. den walk around offering the rose to everyone before giving it to noch at the end of the concert. lolz. den took the last MRT home. lolz. den for the 1st time heard the MRT say something like "there is no more train in service at this station. thank you. and good night." lolz. den there was no more bus and my parents had to come fetch me home. after which i bathed and tried unsucessfully to dry my hair and read some chem. lolz. den went to sleep at about 1.30? including the time i lay on my bed dreaming of performing on stage again. lolz.

den i woke up the next morning feeling super sick. lolz.

Den today got that amathzing race thing. Jimmy n jiaying won while i gave chance to other ppl. lol. for real sia. jiaying already told me the teacher's name but i decided to give my prize to other ppl. others who may need it more than me. lolz.

Today morn skool briefed us on writing top 3 achievement. lolz. den i was thinking of what to write for mine. lolz. den the teacher show the captain marvel thingy. lolz. den i laughed and thought of something similar. something which i should write here now... lolz


Green Lantern

As the fourth serving Green Lantern of Space Sector 2814, Jiahao has carried the world on his shoulders saving the unknowing earth from imminent doom for at least 2o times. As a Green Lantern, Jiahao's main duty is to protect the world from alien invaders including the kree and the skrulls. Besides serving in space sector 2814, Jiahao also currently leads the Green Lantern Corps, thus being the first human to ever serve that role. However, his giant contributions to Earth and the Space Sector has not went unnoticed as his statue is now erected over the original location of the Statue of Liberty, in which was destroyed during the attack of the silver surfer on New York, Thus giving light and hope to all as stated by the noble oath he pledge to commit himself to however tough the situation might be:

when i bought the magic pack for inspiration just now.. i dun really got any. cos i didn't really understand.. but now i understand that quote. lolz. went skool in morn only to come back earlier due to a increasing temp. now damn drowsy from the medication given. should not have done pe just now.

just now discussed or somewhat argued about ns with ray n bain. with them branding me all sorts of names. but i remained unfazed. to me, NS is a bullshit time wasting thing which just disrupts everything. n dun gimme tt load of crap bout the honor n pride of serving the nation blah blah blah. tt. to me. is just propaganda to ensure tt ppl have an excuse of liking ns. and do anyone truly think tt if one day, we were attacked by, say iran or north korea, we would be able to stop their nuclear onslaught? wake up. this aint a game. ppl die in NS. and i am determined to get as safe a job as possible. the best is clerk of cos. n dun gimme tt" its an honor to die for e country", so what if u could have a flag on top of your coffin... as if anyone will remember you after only 50 yrs. or even 2-3 yrs. think about it. how many of us remember the army deaths tt happened? mayb it would cause a stir awhile.. mayb it will remain in the hearts of his relatives.. but 流芳百世?.. i doubt it.

also. its not tt i dun wanna train. its just tt there is no point. 2 wks to accomplish this 5 pull ups? why try so hard? instead. why couldn't i do it slowly. take it a step at a time. and finally pass the august one... its not about effort.. its about pragmatism. and pragmatism is just what singapore govt has been teaching. Also. you talk about NS building social cohesion, protecting the country. etc... yeah.. plenty of benifits... but where's my share? yeah.. talk about building friendships. building character.. blah.. but given a choice i rather go to uni and make friends there.. and build character there as well. but look at the price of NS. 1st. we are now 2 yrs behind. many will say, what is 2 yrs? but this will significantly set us back. esp some countries already have a head start. and we guys will be 2 yrs back in everything.. talk econs. the oppotunity cost for the person is far too high. even if i just worked as a part timer. i would have earnt more than tt meagre army allowance. .... 2nd.. need i say anything more....

and oh yeah. i am a quitter. not tt i quit everything. but if war was to erupt. I will be amongst the first to run. wherever to. and many may say not and look down on me. but if war really was to break out.. i guess it would be more 五十步笑百步... "at least i didn't say i will run 1st" or " at least i ran later"... but i do not quit everything.. i will 拼 for things tt i deem useful and helpful towards me.. an example of something? o levels. and i am definitely gonna 拼 for a levels.. it aint natpha. and NS. millions have survived without a natpha test past but how many rich man have you seen without even a bachelor degree. again, its not about honor, pride, or anything.. its about pragmatism and mayb a certain extent of WELL-UTILISED effort. and i stress well utilised. which means to me. fighting for things tt will gimme benifits. 人不为己,天诛地灭.

but i have accepted as NS as inevietable after deciding to stay in singapore. so im just gonna go in with an open mind.. be it 4 more wks or no 4 more wks. and try to take the best out of it. think of it as paying for citizenship.

there is more reasons i dun like NS inside me.. but i am keeping them inside cos i scared getting sued. so tt's all for now.. have to go slp liao.. head hurting like mad. eyes closing. temperature rising again. got 1 day MC for tomorrow.. but should be going to skool.. cos its not worth missing.

uncanny resemblance

what a eventful wk this wk is turning into.. lolz.. y can't every wk be like this week, full of stuff happening. lolz.. lolz.

The long expected confrontation finally happened. 杀气 once again unleashed her 杀气. lolz.. after an extremely boring econs lecture which seemed to last forever, well, all econs lecture seems so.. It was maths tutorial, the most uneventful and peaceful tutorial, until today. lolz. 杀气 was sleeping in lessons. lolz. den lim kim kicked her chair or something. e 1st time 杀气 warned him, den either 杀气 dreaming or lim kim really kicked again or something. 杀气 suddenly went and picked up a stick. and came and banged on lim kim's table scolding him for kicking his chair. den lim kim went into berserker mode and flipped table and they started to dance around mr kho who was still there, stunned by the outburst. lolz. trying damn hard to be neutral. lolz. den scold this scold that.. blah blah blah. and everything ended. lolz. lazy to put it into words. lolz. but tsun wang sad life sia. so close to lim kim kena scolded also. lolz. sad life.

lolz. but this lk outburst reminded me of my secondary 2 days. lolz. one which i have long since forgotten. lolz. well it happened quite similar to his outburst. lolz......
It was after assembly. we returned to our classes, preparing to go home or to go play football, i forgot. lolz. but anyway. the class decided that taking my stuff and hiding them was damn fun and i as a choirboy dun possess too much power to fight back anyway. lolz. but they were wrong. lolz. anyway. so this stupid hippo. sheryl, tt one in VJ basketball, tt one in AHS basketball, decided to take my water bottle. lolz. den when i found all my other stuff and confronted her to ask her to return my bottle. she refused, saying something i forgot, but it was something tt made me damn angry. n tt was the last straw. lolz. i turned into an embodiment of rage and flipped the table between me and her. and i shouted "KNN,　要打就来打，你以为我怕你啊。ＫＮＮＢＣＣＢ＂ａｔ her at the top of my voice. so loud tt even my fren at the opposite end of the block could hear me. she was stunned. and i was fuming with anger. fists clenched. ready to start to fight. den. this other person. a councillor. from the next door class. her name i forgotten. starting with N i think. but her face still etched in my mind so deep tt my face still turned black whenever i saw her. lolz. anyway. she came and book me. lolz. i dun really care bout bookings or anything. lolz. but den i was angry. lolz. imagine a councillor you hardly noe, come in and book u when u noe the fault originally was not at u. lolz. so. being me. i verbally abused tt person also. almost going to the nxt class to fight if not for ppl reminding me tt the other class is sports class n i would be more likely to be whacked. lolz. and so i took back my bottle. and i left skool. to go home. lolz. den from eyewitnesses of the aftermath. lolz. it was said tt i reduced her to tears. lolz. which i am not ashamed of but rather proud of then, having defended my pride. lolz. but there are differences with lk's outburst. 1st, no teacher is involved. i always give teacher some amt of face. just varying amts. lolz. n 2. i was much younger then. lolz. and i haven started reading 武侠小说s. lolz. but after i read. lolz. i regretted my actions. lolz. but the hatred still remains in me. lolz. which i dun bother removing cause anger and hatred is good motivation.. esp when the ppl u hate are stronger than you in some areas.... lolz.. for example.. the female JH of 4H( refer to earlier blog posts) who is also in VJC now. and my blood still boils whenever i see her. lolz. ok. tt's an exxageration ( is tt how u spell this). lolz. anyway. lol.

slacked the whole of today away, slacking in my room.. doing nth but rubbish. lolz. listened to 933, den read 'hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy' which is a totally nonsensical book tt suits the kind of mood i am in right now, lolz. den tried to make a weapon out of pens and rubber bands which can penetrate my board on the front of my table. lolz. den found out tt i was missing some parts and tried to think of alternatives and pondered for quite a while before finally giving up. lolz. den since i was on weapons. i decided to continue to try building up a spark with some old wires and some batteries, which i found out tt current produced was too low to make a spark. lolz.

den i did something super lame, i asked my sis to hide my earphones so i can look for them to relieve my boredom. lolz.

did all this shit cos my father was at home and i cant FM and dun really feel like muggin rite after the common tests end. lolz.

DAY 3 of CNY 7.30pm.
was super hungry, and there was a super traffic jam. lolz. so me and my family decided to go makan, or eat. and we went this place, where the police afterwards told us is called kulai besar, to eat. lolz. it was the only chinese food open as it is CNY and the street is damn deserted and dark. lolz. cept for tt shop. lolz.so we went and eat. being tired and exhasted and hungry, we forgot about our bags and went and eat. It was a good meal. but very costly. Cos when we return to a car. we kena rob. once we enter the car, two men came and smashed our windows and threatened my father. and we gave them our bags, with everything inside. including passport, ic, stuff. Interesting fact i taken note here: Singapore and malaysian passports are worth 30k sing bucks in the black market. lolz. anyway. still damn angry, everything gone. but luckily i have this habit of putting all my impt stuff, phone, wallet n mp3 with me. so mine neva kena. my sister n mother was another case, everything put in bag, everything also kena. sad life.

den went police report n do stuff. damn sian. now super angry, not cos they steal my stuff. but feel disgraced tt i am a malaysian and this type of things happen, not rarely, but very frequently, at my 2 hours at the police station, ppl kept coming in, with all sorts of crime, and it was only 1 small police station in malaysia. imagine the amt of crime commited daily, newspaper would be as think as 2 phonebooks if they recorded and told the story of every crime. malaysia, to me, is a beauty with a heart black as coal. It now feels like gotham city of batman. and she truly needs superheroes like them to save her from her imminent doom. but also, i damn angry they stole my things, if only i was ghost rider, i will penance stare those thieving b*****ds and send them to hell. damn sian..

yesterday singapore vs malaysia. watched on channel5. felt malaysia was the better team throughout. n malaysia will win the return leg cos singapore's defensive stalwart, aide, is suspended. many may disagree with me but i dun think that singapore can survive without the good defending of aide, as their attack is really lousy, alam shah is too small and can only be relied to sneak in a few goals, amri and indra isnt performing well.

anyway. this is the second part of my FM guide. lolz. league 2

League 2.
The 4th league from the EPL and the lowest i have dare ventured. This league is a league where there is little if not nothing seperating the teams. every team seems similar and the most important factor is picking a kit colour that you like.

An average league 2 club gets about 10k transfer budget. and your signings are limited to ppl within the country or at most within UK. your players have stats that have an average current ability of around 100. The team i have chosen to manage in this league was wycombe wanderers, the giant killing team that has dumped 2 premiership clubs and drawn chelsea in the FA cup. It went quite well for me and i saw myself went into the championship in 2 seasons. only to get relegated back to league 1 the next season.but it was still a good game.

For league 2 teams. you can skip the top 4/5 of your player search screen and look solely as those who are transfer listed and available on a free transfer. Strikers are easy to get, depending on the leagues and database you chose. duncan ferguson, teddy sheringham, Romario, some of the african strikers with eu 2nd nationalities. all fit the bill well. in defence you have lorenzo amoroso, serginho ( almost impossible to get even if your bid is accepted), spencer prior. For league 2, your choice is limited. and so you enter another market, one that you will never touch if you are in the premiership. yes. the loan market. Put your pride aside and get a parent team, hopefully from the premiership. and try to get loan signings. scourge the liverpool, man utd, chelsea, arsenal reserves for players to fill your squad. some of them may reject you, but many more will come. from liverpool : Jack hobbs, nabil el zhar, craig lindfield. From man utd: febian brandy and co will come in handy. From chelsea: scott sinclair, michael macienne. From arsenal: anyone in the reserves and under 18s. From west ham: hogan Ephraim. From man city: daniel sturridge. From tottenham: Tomas Pekhart .Try getting anyone that you think is good from loans from those clubs, for even lousy players can play in the league 2. lolz.

after getting your squad, the competition is tricky too. every club can beat every other club. so you may beat the top of table one day and lose to the bottom club 3 days later. so treat every match with care n concern. lolz. also dun be complacent if you are leading 2-0 at half time. in league 2, a 2 goal lead is nothing as AOS (any other scores) frequently occurs.

however, league 2 is not a diffucult league as there is not a great power jump when you are promoted. unlike from league 1 to championship and championship to premiership. so you would have a platform 2 build on when you are in league 1, without having the change the whole team. lolz.
